El Dorado County’s young people will benefit from generous tree sales this winter season. The 13th Annual Young Life Tree Lot is a yearly fundraising event supporting kids throughout the community. The Tree Lot runs each year throughout the holidays from November 23rd to December 23rd. This year, over 150 volunteers signed up to help out and many of the young people involved with Young Life contribute to the success of the tree lot! Those who visited the Tree Lot were inspired by the youth’s devotion and effort.
Luke Webb, one of the young volunteers, was commended for his hard work with a generous donation to pay, in part, for him to go to camp! Several young people who visited the event were moved to sign up on the spot and volunteer for Young Life’s cause.
The time these young people spent working at the Tree Lot is well worth their while because 100% of the fundraiser’s proceeds will be donated to support El Dorado County’s youth. As a non-profit Christian outreach program, Young Life is dedicated to positively mentoring approximately 350 local middle school and high school students.
