The Lincoln Regional Airport will host the inaugural Lincoln AirFest event on June 11 from 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
This event is the kickoff event to the Lincoln AirFest. “Golden Age of Aviation” is dinner/semi-formal dance in Hangar #2 at Lincoln Regional Airport on Friday, June 10, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Fox40 anchor Paul Robins will be the emcee for the dinner.
For the dinner/dance, guests will travel back in time to the exciting “Golden Age” as they walk the red carpet flanked by two Thunder Mustangs (scaled P-51 Second World War planes). The Lincoln AirFest committee is asking all guests to dress in semi-formal “Gatsby” attire.

6:30 a.m.– Gates open to public, hot air balloon launch by Cheers Aerial Media – Cheers Over California, Inc
7:00 a.m.– Pancake breakfast
7:00- 9:30 a.m.– Tethered Balloon Rides (weather permitting)
8:00 a.m. –9:00a.m.- Airplanes and classic cars arrive
10:00 a.m.– Opening Ceremonies (parachute drop, Beale Air Force Base honor guard and T-38 flyby)
10:30 a.m.– Radio controlled aircraft demonstration
10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.– All aircraft available for viewing on tarmac. Formation and single-aircraft flybys; parachute drops; powered parachute flyby. Helicopter rides ($).
11:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Gourmet food trucks open for lunch from SactoMoFo
