Chicago Fire At Palladio Grand Opening – Folsom, CA
Date: November 14, 2011
Location: Chicago Fire At Palladio
Restauranteur Eric Schnetz opened his fourth Chicago Fire restaurant location on November 14th, located in the Palladio at Broadstone. The Palladio location is the chain’s spacious location yet. The new Chicago Fire offers room for approximately 300 diners and plans to employ close to 90 personnel. To celebrate the grand opening weekend, Chicago Fire staff asked its guests to make a charitable donation to Playmakers instead of paying for their meal.
Chicago Fire also donated one hundred percent of alcohol sales to the charity. The director of Playmakers is ex-NFL player Greg Roeszler who founded the charity to teach boys who live without a father the core values of accountability, commitment, teamwork, and family. The boys then get to put these values into practice on the football field.
Family, friends and staff from other Chicago Fire locations, and various city officials attended several meals to raise money for the group. Schnetz was proud to report that on opening weekend, the Chicago Fire location entertained over 1,700 guests and raised over $17,000 for Playmakers.
