Countdown to the BIG Day Of Giving
Starting at midnight on May 3rd, the Sacramento region will come together for one BIG Day of Giving – a 24 hour giving challenge that lifts up lives and makes this the place we call home. In its third year, the BIG Day of Giving has raised nearly $9 million for nonprofits serving our region. Join our community on May 3rd for a celebration of philanthropy and put your money where your heart is!
What is BIG Day of Giving?
BIG Day of Giving is an online networking and giving event that provides nonprofit organizations the opportunity to gain exposure and start relationships with new donors, and for the people in the Sacramento region to come together to raise as much money as possible for participating organizations within a 24-hour period.
The online event will take place from 12:00 AM PDT Tuesday, May 3 to 11:59 PM PDT. Additionally, prize challenge and incentive funds have been made available thanks to our sponsors.

BIG Day of Giving is a time-limited donation period
Designed to expand and increase giving to local nonprofits that provide vital services that help to sustain our community. For the past two years, our region has shown tremendous support raising $3 million in 2014, and $5.6 million in 2015. On May 3rd, 2016, we are confident that our community will rally and once again prove its generous spirit!
